AnnaMaria Oltorp is currently Head of the Development Cooperation Section at the Embassy of Sweden in Bangkok. Her area of responsibility is to implement Sweden’s strategy for regional development cooperation in Asia and the Pacific. Having been with the organization for 20 years now, she has handled various roles in the past including heading the Unit for Research Cooperation, managing bilateral development cooperation with Myanmar, Laos, the Philippines, Sri Lanka and Timor Leste and handling regional development cooperation in Asia.
AnnaMaria has a research background in Environmental Economics from Stockholm School of Economics and has taught international economics at the Cambodia Development Research Institute (CDRI) in Phnom Penh.
