Associate Professor Dr Sara Seck is the Yogis & Keddy Chair in Human Rights Law at the Schulich School of Law, Dalhousie University, where she is a member of the Marine & Environmental Law Institute. Her research and teaching are devoted to clarifying the relationship between human rights and environmental problems, and business responsibilities for human rights. She is a member of Columbia University’s Teaching Business and Human Rights Forum, and a director with the Global Network for the Study of Human Rights and the Environment. In 2019 she received a legal specialist award in Peace, Justice and Governance from the Centre for International Sustainable Development Law. She supervises many researchers at Dalhousie including as part of projects supported by UNEP.
